A few useful details.
We’re starting with a small set of stores and building from there.
What does it cost?
Planning, recipe collection, store comparisons and copying your shopping list are free, with no signup. Automated retailer carts are A$9/month. The launch offer takes A$4 off every month, so you pay A$5/month while your subscription continues. One subscription covers supported retailers, paired DoorDash sends and retries.
Automated carts are free during preview. When subscriptions open, you’ll choose whether to upgrade. Groceries and retailer fees are separate. See the plan.
Which stores can I shop at?
Current DoorDash locations:
- Sydney: Costco Lidcombe and ALDI North Strathfield.
- Melbourne: Costco Ringwood and ALDI Box Hill South.
Coles and Woolworths are being prepared for the first paid offering. Their delivery stores will appear in the planner after local coverage and cart checks pass. Check current availability and setup.
Confirm delivery to your actual address with the selected retailer. This is selected local coverage, not nationwide availability.
Do I need the Chrome extension?
ALDI and Costco carts on DoorDash need the extension. Direct Coles and Woolworths links do not. Planning, review and copying your shopping list work without it.
The extension runs in desktop Chrome. It’s currently a preview installed manually, with a download and step-by-step guide on the extension page.
Which recipes can I use?
Start with a recipe link. If we can’t read the page, paste its ingredient list instead. You can correct ingredients and adjust servings before matching products.
The bulk-pack planner uses a starter recipe collection and can include recipes from your current plan.
Will Recipe2Cart place an order for me?
No. You choose what to send, then review the retailer cart and check out yourself. The retailer confirms final prices, availability, substitutions and delivery.
Your retailer sign-in stays in your browser. Recipe2Cart never submits or pays for your grocery order. Stripe handles payment for the optional Recipe2Cart subscription.
